yes mate, he did....it was a terrible piece of defending, if it hit a bobble, then it would be the same...he should have been in control of the suituation and got some tough on it, it went through his legs, he made an awful hash of it...

Goalkeepers fault. Its common knowledge that 'keepers must stamp on balloons when the ball is up the other end.

I think the biggest problem wasn't the two BLUE baloons it hit but the WHITE one it rolled passed very hard to judge the ball beside a white baloon.

Martin should have seen red very lucky to be on the pitch.

yes....u should always be in control of the ball, these players are professional footballers and should be able to deal with things like this, simple as that. all he needed was to get his foot behind the ball and in all fairness, it wasn exactly a big switch in movement.defensive error, full stop. if it happened to a united player, i would be very unhappy with him.

oh cos that is what i said ya? read my post again and you will see that we are talking about a basic bobble or movement of direction, i never mentioned baloons in the post, neither did xavi. if ur defending a player in this suituation, then its u that needs to get serious.

Well as I said it wasn't a bobble that caused the problem it was having a White baloon beside the ball. Pretty easy to see it on the replay really

Eh I did. They caused the bobble. The ball was running fine til it hit them so of course they played a part.

Anyway we've been a bunch of prima donnas and deserve to be losing.
