CFLs and dimmer controls

I know you're not supposed to use standard CFLs with dimmer controls that are suited to incandescent lights, and that there is now available a special CFL that dimmable- but I also saw something about these dimmable CFLs not being operational/compatible with dimmer controls that we would have used for incandescent…
