Grass seed for a lawn

I am looking to plant some grass seed in an area that will mostly be used by dogs and people this April. It must be very low maintenance, and grow as thick as possible. This would be in county offaly. Also, where would a good supplier be found. I am looking to cover approx 1/2 acre. Any suggestions? Obliged, Wes
