Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hi all, I am looking to get my teeth fixed; braces and implants. My dentist already referred me to an ortho who i did not like. so my question is, can I just go ahead and find one for myself without changing dentists or will I have to get another referral. Also if the former is true does anyone know of a good orthodontist in the wicklow/wexford area? thanks:)

    Hi there,
I can't recommend an orthodontist in that area I'm afraid, but from my experience, a lot of orthodontists don't even require a referral! The guy I went to in Dublin didn't anyway. Whenever you decide on one to get a consultation with, ring and ask. If they do require a referral, there's nothing wrong with explaining to your dentist that you didn't want to go with the first ortho and could he/she write to the new one.
    Best of luck!
    Marianne.
