Try Conn's Cameras in Clarendon Street. Sometimes they have second hand scopes for sale. Opticron and Kowa scopes are good and are mid-range in price. Or try the Dublin Camera Exchange in South Great Georges Street... they stock Nikon scopes, both new and used.

I'll keep my ear to the ground in case any buddies of mine are selling too.

I bought an Opticron from Wings shop - Birdwatch Ireland. http://shop.birdwatchireland.ie/birdwatchireland/. Postal order or drop into them and have a chat/check em out. Had some questions/issues afterwards and after-sales service was faultless.

I actually forgot about the BWI site... thank's for reminding us!! I would rather they got a few sheckles too... although Conn's supply them with the scopes...:)
