Hoping to move to the U.K.

    Hi All, I never caught the travelling bug in my early twenties, but now I have decided that I would like to move but just to the U.K. I suppose I am wondering if any of you could recommend a city to settle in. I want to bring my car over, and just start a new job there. I am thinking maybe Manchester or Liverpool. Possibly Scotland or Wales too though, that's why I need help!!!! Any advice greatly appreciated, re getting a job, accommodation e.t.c.
