BHAA next race in swords

    :)After the great Raheny race on sunday. How about a 5 mile Cross Country??


    The next race of the BHAA year is the North County Farmers Cross Country on the 2nd of Feb. It is a combined start time of 11:30. It is a 5 mile for Men and 2.5 for the Ladies.
    Registration at the St. Colmcille's GAA Club, Swords. Race in Balheary Park, just across the road.
    The race will include the unique bale Hurdles and traditional floral displays. The race is open to new members who can participate as individuals or represent their places of employment.
    The Race free is 10 Euro for BHAA members, 15 Euro for day members.
    You can sign up for the year for 15 Euro, which will allow to run in all further BHAA races for 10 Euro and compete in the team prizes

    think I'll give this one a blast. What's the story with the hurdles ? Based on last years course are there many of them ?

    they are not really that bad!, just something different in the race. I think , but might be mistaken 2 jumps per lap during the 3 lap course and one at near the finish line. People seem to love anything different in a race. not much rain in the last few days so should be a good race
