A warm front - on route to Paris, via Kerry and Cornwall... Our northerly pulls it down that way... thanks to the deep low off Norway at 950hPa. If it were say 980hPa (shallower) then that warm front would cross us, bringing a sharp rise in temperatures - up to 10c.

Cork Airport - 3c - Recent Snow

At 10pm, there was rain at 1c, then rain turns to snow as temperatures rise to 2c
