Very insensitive thread. What about the poor Ethiopians who are at home browsing boards. The poor wee things are starving hungry having not eaten in 17 days, so they try and take their minds of things by browsing Irelands most popular bulletin board.

They happen upon this thread and are faced with a barrage of fat Irish fcukers banging on about calorie heavy delights. Nice one Lou.

Mmmmmm I'm quite partial to SuperMac's. Love the Mighty Mac meal, there's something not chemically unsh!t about it compared to other fast food companies. The fries there are delicious also. BBQ dip on the side.
Wash it down with some Coca Cola.

To finish everything off... Hot Chocolate Muffin with Ice Cream.
Actually, theres one in Blackrock, brb.

Favorite junk food/late night munchies of all time would have to be ..

Sunset Burger .. big fat 1/2 pounder patty topped with melted Jack cheese and crispie bacon, avocado, lettuce, sliced tomato and red onion on grilled sourdough.

    Cheese fries

Washed down with a chocolate malt

    Salade au chevre chaud

Confit au canard aux pommes de terre

    Mousse au chocolat

... with a decent bottle of red wine, preferably at an outdoor table at some little cafe down in a little out-of-the-way square in Montpellier or somewhere like that.

Whole lot unlikely to set you back much above €20, and you will stroll away thinking you slipped in the back door of heaven without realising it!

(Oh, and my French is fairly non-existant, so apologies in advance for any spelling / grammar boo-boos ...)

I'll have one of everything off the McDonalds menu.

Anyone who disagrees with my choice of eating their food can go and complain to their rainforest hero, Sting.

Wtf is the point of a steak if you're going to burn all the flavour out of it? People who like their steak well done shouldn't be allowed to eat steak, throw 'em a burger to chomp on.

I'm partial to an English muffin.
    That's muffin, not muffin'.
I never thought they could make up for the whole 800 years thing, but with English muffins and breakfast tea we will finally re-unify this country.

Lets skip the pommes de terre (I prefer pomme au gratin) and get straight onto a glass of chilled red wine as an aperitif and have some hors d'oeuvre to really work up an appetite.

Oh yeah, nothing like a nice glass of vino to sharpen up the appetite :D

For favourite food...hmmm....was in Jo'burger last nite and it was pretty damn good, gourmet fast food ftw :)

What I love is ciabatta bread with a good bit of butter, chedder cheese, mushrooms sauted in olive oil and garlic all toasted together with a poached egg on top. Yummy and veggie.
