Got this error from Event Manager on an 80 GB 2.5" Iomega Portable HD...any suggestions as to how it can be fixed , the drive appears ok in windows just cant put anything on or take anything off it. I dont have any of the discs that came with the drive.

Restart in 'safe mode' and run 'scandisk' as suggested here.
