hi, in the last few days a light referring to the engine emissions is constantly illuminated on the dash and also the rev counter goes dead. Has anyone and experience with this?

Do you feel any loss in power when driving the car or has the warning light just appeared for no reason?

Hard to say really at this stage but my initial guess would be that you could have a dirty or faulty oxygen sensor. Lamba, MAF or possibly Throttle Body sensor all come to mind.

Have a mechanic check it out is the best advice I can give.

yeah it just appeared in the last day or two. Ill drop down to the garage on monday. it does cut out when idling in traffic
