I am on the rathmines exchange and am still waiting too. I just ran a speed test from eircom's own website and I am getting 1.8mb. I usually get 2.5mb or probably higher given the time of night.

I wonder if the engineers are working on the exchange now and this is effecting my speed....

A lot better than I thought it would be. Put my attenuation and Noise margin figures into one of the sites posted earlier and it told me the most I could hope for was 3100kbps down. Figured I'd be on the blower to UTV on Monday to downgrade back to the new 3mbit package and save a few bob.

I am very happy with 6mbit and 512 even if my line can't support 7.6mbit and 720

Where are you in Bray Cremo. I'm beside tesco's in Charnwood atm. We'll actually be moving near the lawn bowls green in a few months. Literally around the corner from the exchange Expect those Line Attenuation and Noise Margin figures of mine to reverse!

Not that you asked me or probably even care, but I'm near the boghall road and I'm getting 5120/512. Not the best but hey the download/upload boost is certainly a sweet bonus :rolleyes:

I'm actually quite close to the exchange though, so it's odd that I'm so far below the 7.6. Must be some other limiting factor at work...

Another Bray resident here (Ardmore Wood) updated at exactly 2.30am ...

Getting 6144/512 which is better than I expected based on my old line stats.

Downstream SNR Margin hasn't changed at all which is odd, although the reported output power has incresed from 16dB to 20dB which might explain that. I'll post more detailed line stats when I get back from my hillwalking later today (I must be mad!).
