Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Anyone else annoyed by this....

    Happens so often on SSN. A club signs a new player, and seemingly the best video sky can muster is over the player needing three attempts to get a penalty in, getting sent off, missing a sitter, making a defensive screw up, basically anything that doesn't show the player is any good. Why do they do it?

    I was actually thinking about this myself when they were harping on about Alves and his wonderful scoring record, then they repeatedly show him heading the ball over the bar against England. Surely if he has a 0.83 goal per game record or whatever, they could find some screamer he scored for Herenveen.

    Maybe they only have the right to show crap clips! You are right though, the reason Alves couldn't be shown for Heerenveen is because Sky don't have the rights to it.

    When he scored the 7 goals in 1 game earlier in the season they showed the goals. Meh, it's not important I guess.

    I think you are right cos Setanta Sports news showed him scoring plenty of goals and I think they have the rights to the Dutch league.

    It could be worse, ive noticed recently that the Scottish news has been using the internet for all their player clips.
    So anyone rangers or celtic have ben linked with over the transfer season looks like they are strangely made out of lego....

    I remember when United were still in the process of trying to get Tevez and they showed him scoring a 89th minute goal to equalize against River Plate (oh Jayzus Tevez hated River Plate! :D). And he absolutly went mental and got sent off for an `offencive`celebration (not really)! It was hilarious hi! :D But the reaction of the River Plate supporters was priceless, it is like Newcastle every time they lose! :)
