(Poster's note; 'help' is not used here in it's usual sense of making things better). Next week Tony Blair travels to the middle-east and will be joined by EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana. High priority.
Action at last!- but not because the plight of the people has got worse, but because they had the effontery to break the siege themselves.
The aim according to EU external relations commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner is to see that Palestinians have 'access to basic supplies', which, last time I looked, was the Israeli policy.
Not good enough! Demand access to full trade opportunities with the EU as negotiated for the occupied territories (and still enjoyed by Israelis) under the Barcelona process.

He going to ship the Israeli's some cluster bombs to punish the Palestinians for the jail break?!? Maybe the kind of help the Brits gave the Iraqi's with there sanctions which killed thousands of children.

As for giving the Palestinians the normal kind of help, the British should be paying reparations (or at least stop being so blatantly anti-Palestinian in general would help), considering there at least partially (well more than partially) responsible for the Palestinians losing there country in the first place (see Balfour Declaration). Sadly they will never admit there culpability, for there part in the Palestinians suffering.
