monitor gpu temps

    hey whats the most acurate program for checking temps on an 8800gt?

    ive got a fan control with several thermal readers on it, and ive stuck a few near/in the card.

    temps are 30c 31c 30c 30.5c.
    under load they vary from 30 - 45. max they have gone to is 46.5c

    not sure but i dont think they're accurate.

    any ideas on what i could use to monitor them?

    Not an expert at this but I found Rivatuner has a nift way of keeping an eye on the temps.
    also I sometimes use PCWizard which I find kinda good also.

    i will keep an eye on my gt today and let you know what my temps are doing.

    HWMonitor or Everest will do it for you too, its accurate enough I find, if you wish to use nvidias porgram download N Tune, it will also monitor temps...

    According to my two apps the card idles at 50..
    and PCWizard tells me that the ambient temp inside the case is 37 degrees.

    right so. got some better readings now.

    ambient temps inside the case are varying from 32 - 38 degree's.

    cpu temp is 32 idle and goes to 44 under load. 48 if i go crazy.

    gpu is at 44 idle and gets to 55 under load.

    not bad temps i must say. now to tempt fate with a 24 hour gaming brawl and see it fly!
