I want to get something which has very good fuel consumption and my Budget is 9000. I would also prefer to get a hatdchback.…

I suppose, since the OP didn't mention reliability or being nice to drive. would have to be a HDI as the 1.4 petrol is pretty heavy on fuel.

This megane seems to tick all the boxes.Mileage i high enough but they say its been used mainly on motorways and it has a full service history.,It would very economical(around 60 mpg IMO).Also, its the 100bhp model so it would be quick.Finally its the dynamique model so it has plenty of goodies, Air con, alloys etc...Not forgetting its very safe indeed.Renault reliability is always a bit iffy so you'd need to be cautious gettin one

colm_mcm - i dont know too much about cars as you will guess form my question - HDI?? What is it? Is it a deisel car?
