Overhead stratus muck finally clearing here, turning into a lovely afternoon but a bit chilly. Current temperature 6.1°
If it doesnt cloud over again tonight should be a hard frost.

Although the sky clear, sunshine is gone due to the thickening haze, very beautiful out. I just hope it stays clear tonight so I can get a frost, but I doubt it. Temp didn't fall below 3.9c last night.
Temp now 6.5c after a peak of 7.6c. Pressure is 1040.6 mb and steady.

Well as I feared an hour ago, cloud has now moved (the irony). Temp stuck at 6.1c. If cloud stays for the night, won't fall much below this. Yet another frostless night.
I would prefer a cloudy day followed followed by a clear night, but as always, whatever I want, the opposite will always occur.
Edit, temp just risen to 6.2c. Feck this.

Temperature falling rapidly now, currently 2.3°C, going to be a frost soon at this rate.

-0.2°C now, if it stays clear should get below -3°C probably.

Temperature drop appears to have slowed right down here, currently -1.2°C and not moving much.
Probably a slow and steady as she goes until morning now.

    Together we'll protect their plants.
You blow south and I'll keep blowing north.
Remember we're lowering their fuel bills aswell (except for MM who I understand doesnt use as much anyway thanks to a good use of renewables etc).

    0.8c
I might be losing some of the cloud.

My Feb record of -5.5C on 7th last is my all time low.

I think its safe. I still think between -4 and -5C.

Totally clear despite all the huffing and puffing from north and south.
I'm considering putting the fire on for the night just to keep house little warmer.
