Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Browsed to here this afternoon and spotted that Dell are about to start offering Inspiron laptops with Ubuntu 7.04 pre-installed in Ireland. No 'Choose' button just yet but that's good news.

Am I the only one to spot this?

I know that certain EU countries have had them for a while but Ireland has not had up to now. It's got the Irish website identifier on it.

Yeah, Dell machines work very well with Ubuntu (All hotkeys etc work flawlessly), would be good if it becomes a option rather than Vista in the future on all machines which you could choose it, fair play to dell for this move tbh, has any other big laptop manufacturers done it? Knocking a good €90 or so off a computer or laptop price is cool :)
