Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,

I have a couple of question's regarding the legal aid board in relation to family law

    1. Can they take out a lien on a persons house?

2.If they can, will this also effect probate?

3.If not how do they redeem their fees?

4.If financial circumstances of a person changes e.g. they come into possesion of another house, then does the person have to pay back the fees for the work done prior to financial circumstance's changing?

I'd really appreciate any assistance on this,

    Regards,

    Sam25

This all sounds like a case of someone getting legal aid, then being awarded money/assets and sticking two fingers up to them when they come seeking a contribution back, as they are entitled to in certain circumstances.

In any event this ain't a free legal aid centre. Read the charter in future. Thread closed.

Not wanting to be a complete bastard though, why not browse through their website. That's free.
