It was always a long shot but Paul Barber at the club confirmed to the Trust today that there wouldn't be a tv screening of the game at WHL

    Dear Daniel and Darren

As feared, The Football League has rejected our request for consideration to be given to us screening the Carling Cup Final on the big screens at White Hart Lane.

So you know, The Football League’s (understandable) thinking is that they must protect the interests of their broadcast rights holders and also the many pubs and clubs that have paid special license fees to show the match in their various establishments up and down the country (where, of course, Carling will be selling lots of cold beer!).

    Kind regards, Paul

No real surprise Pat, and no fault of the clubs either.

Its just a pity what football has become but then I suppose we were happy to sign up to all that sh1te when we were getting TV money and sponsorship ourselves.
