Maybe not, but very close ;)

Needs Children Of The Damned in there

Mind you, hearing Moonchild again live would nearly make up for not having COTD.

My vote goes for Metallica playing Master Of Puppets in its entirety for the 20th anniversary of the album's release...

That's the kind of gig you'd walk away from 100% satisfied. There are a couple of tunes I could happily substitute but ****, that'd be a quality gig and no mistake.

No arguements about walking away happy after that set list.

Seeing Rime Of The Ancient Mariner live would be...fun!

Megadeth live in '05 was great set list.

It's a great setlist. Moonchild would be great to hear actually, and apparently they played the intro 'live' (as opposed to the taped intro used on the 7th son tour).

    But...no Flight of Icarus!! :(

To be honest, I can think of quite a few songs I'd like to hear them play live, but they can't please everyone I suppose. Hearing 'Drifter' & 'Another Life' in 2005 was great though :)

I did pick up Live After Death on DVD today, very enjoyable. They've included Part 2 of 'the History of Iron Maiden' which covers the World Slavery Tour, so hopefully that means they'll be releasing 'Maiden England' on DVD in the next couple of years as well.

Doctor J - you were referenced in Spinal Tap, correct? ;)

Thread title is "Best set list ever?"
No Iron Maiden reference there, you just happen to name a Maiden setlist as the best one ever.

I just thought i'd correct your mistake ;)

I have to say I loved Iced Earth's "Alive In Athens" set list. My favourite live cd by far.

This thread title REALLY needs an edit.
    Really.
"least cheesy Iron Maiden setlist" would be a good suggestion.
