    Does anyone out there have or know anything about Kerry Blues?
    If so,what are they like?

    Kerry's are very intelligent but are prone to fight, Kerry Blue Terriers are strong-headed and highly spirited. They have always been loyal and affectionate towards their owners and very gentle towards children but were often considered downright mean toward other animals including other dogs-there naturally high in stamina and love swimming, they need moderate to high exercise levels and obedience training is a must, if socialised they can be a great dog..There also the national dog of ireland and was the 1st dog registered in the irish kennel club. Hope this helps.

    I can attest to them being not great with other dogs having taken in 3 adults and 5 youngsters in the past 10 years of doing rescue in Ireland. My attempts to socialised them failed in all but 1 adult and 3 youngsters, the rest were rehomed as single pets only. Not the easiest of dogs if you enjoy walks in parks where other doglets roam :D. There is a KB rescue in Ireland, you can PM me for details if you like.

    EGAR.Thanks for replying to that message.I have two dogs already and doubt if I'd be aloud to get a third.It was very kind of you to inform me of this Rescue as I have a general interest in the breed.
    Does the rescue happen to have a web adress?
