    Hi there
Apologies if this thread is inappropriate here, couldn't work out where best to put it - I am visiting Dun Laoghaire tomorrow and have heard that parking there is a nightmare to find and also really expensive. Has anyone got any tips on where is a good spot to park (preferably close to the sea-front)?
    Many thanks
    Dave

I haven't parked there during the weekends but anytime I have to meet clients out there I park on Adelaide St. and its an easy walk to the pier. Presumably the pay and display doesn't operate on a Sunday but double check.

I am from Dunlaoghaire and you shouldn't have much of a problem parking on Sunday as long as you keep your distance from the coast ie the east pier if the weather is fine. You should find a place handy enough on Upper Georges St, Patrick St, Clarinda Park, Northumberland Ave and Corrig Avenue.http://www.dun-laoghaire.com/map.html

Parking in the Seapoint carpark (entered via the harbour) is free if you don't mind the walk.
