Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    :D

I was looking at the pressure chart for up to 15 days out and while its obviously far from cast in stone the Azores high (and its "outer sphere of influence") looks like being the dominant feature bar 3/4 days of jet stream action in 10-11 days time

More of a SE than a southerly airflow by ECM today than yesterday which could be less mild than what was being forecast yesterday for next monday:

Hopefully this will extend the period of potential cooler night time temps in inland areas at least.

Models showing increasing signs of uncertainty after this.

This is totally not right, we should be gettin these charts in the summer bringing us 25C, not in Middle February. What a tragedy of a winter so far for most of us. whats the bets were gonna end up with a lousy summer like last years.

Those charts posted show that the air moving towards us from the south is quite slow moving overall.

    Latest ECM looks interesting:

Lets hope that this little low will get beefed up in later runs. :)
