Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

I bought a nice dress for work which is basically a white shirt attached to a black pinafore. It states dry clean only which is fine with me. I went to a small dry cleaners who said they couldnt dry clean it as the black was running into the white top.

Any ideas what to do? I bought it abroad so cant return it. Id like to try it with a good dry cleaners, do you know of any?

Im close to cutting out the shirt and using the dress part but would like to keep both together.

    Thanks

    SS

New York on Abbey St are good.

They should be able to do it for you. If they can't they should be able to recommend someone who can do it.

I've heard lyk nu in Donnybrook are very good with specialist items like wedding dresses etc. I'd try there. I have a black jumper that has a white collar attached to it (so it looks like you're wearing a shirt under it) I wash it at home in the washing machine and the black never runs in to the white. What kind of material is the dress?

Admittedly, I've only ever brought suits in (being a bloke!!), but I've seen a fair few dress' with delicate fabrics get left in and collected, so they seem to know what they are doing.

Excel Dry-cleaners on Dame Lane are great - they have done lots of delicate dresses for me. Never any problems.
