Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I have a black tie event on this week and was wondering whether I#m better off renting or buying. A rental is about €70-85. Any ideas on where I could get one cheap to rent or buy?

    Thanks,

    ;)

How about a second hand one in Blacktie etc... Am sure they would be good value for money.

Marks & Spencer also do them.

I would recommend buying one, always handy to have one incase something pops up. I'd recommend trying Best on O Connell street accross from the Kylemore, it may be a bit more expensive. If you dont like that then Roaches Stores on henry street, dont forget you also need shoes :)

Not speaking from experience here, but if your looking for value, I would try here. An irish site and they deliver to ya!

Speaking from experience, I'd rent one from Blacktie and after your big day if you like it buy it from them (or wait until it's on sale after Debs ..etc..)

I did that 5 years ago and it's now so easy whenever one of these black tie gigs come up.

Just rent one man unless you'll be needing to rent another one soon after...
