New more expensive Veyron on the way?

News around the web in recent days is that there may be a new Veyron that will top the price tag already on the Veyron 16.4.

Have heard some rumours last year about a soft top one which i am undecided on. Link below.

Have also heard rumours of a diesel to be produced along the same lines as the Veyron. Would be interesting :rolleyes:

Good few supercars may be coming out in diesel in next few years, like the new Audi R8 V12 TDi
, complete with link below. Its got a quicker 0-62mph time (half second quicker) than petrol version due to the awesome amount of torque created by the diesel engine

.............hopefully its be the 130BHP Passat engine. That'll mean a lower price tag 'cos the VRT will be lower and if you buy after July the tax will be emmisions based too so you could save a few bob on running costs !

Im thinking it may be a W20 diesel, two V10 diesel plants connected together

The main problem is the weight of the engine and can it be put on the Veyron and still have the same drive, if they cant solve this I dont think the Diesel Veyron will make it to production.

Thats a concept, nothing comfirmed yet about it coming into production.

I did say it may be coming out. Would say it would be worth it. Will be interesting to see how the diesel engine will wok in the supercar.
