Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I recently purchased a O2 mobile phone which i have done im previous times, i purchased one before December nokia 6300. and got 100 credit which is broken down at 20 and then 10 euro a aaaa month for 8 months

But i have been told now that in order to be able to collect this credit u will have to top up by €20.00 euro a month so that u can get this 10 euro credit

Anyone enlighten me, is this not a rip off anytime i have done this before i just got the credit without having to top up any advice apparently they dont give u the credit ur entitled to if u dont top up by 20 ??????????????????

How can free credit be a "rip off"?

Yes, they have changed the terms in recent times.

It's widely known, Meteor do it also.

Vodafone are gone the same also except they want €10 top-up a month

"You must register within 60 days of using your phone for the first time. You will receive your FREE credit within 24 hours of registering. After initial registration, you must top up by €10 or more in one go every 30 days to receive each of your €10 FREE Registration credits. You can only register one phone every 30 days. On upgrading, any existing registration credit will be replaced with your new registration credit."

Tesco also require a €20 top-up per month

Why dont you upgrade your priceplan to o2 experience and you will get free texts to all numbers any time for your €20 topup every month also

Well said pyramuid man and also cast_iron!! I applaud the 2 of ye!
Switch to the Experience plan with the 10 Fav numbers and for an extra tenner (so 30 in total p/Month) you can have free calls and texts to your 10 fav O2 numbers anytime- great deal. Also work the system because chances are if you top up by 30 and get free calls an texts in say eg - January, you will probably not use that 30 till Feb, so then you use that up and top up again in say March. ie u should then only spend 30every second month and also have free calls/texts to your 10 fav O2 numbers every second month also.

Also as said by cast_iron- how can free credit be a rip off!!
