Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    there is no writers group in KK. there should be. If you always wanted to write lets get a few people together and do it.

    have you had a look through artlinks for a KK writers group? I didn't know there was a film club here until last month.

    There are actually quite a few writers groups in Kilkenny - they tend to be fairly word of mouth in terms of recruiting new members though.

    I'm in one but as there are already 12 people's work to get through in 2 hours, I'm not sure we could fit any more in.

    I was thinking of trying to organise some kind of writers workship with those grants being advertised by the Arts Office at the moment. Maybe another group could develop from that if there was interest?

    I'll post back here with details if I get anywhere with it.

    Also - try contacting the Arts Office and check on Artslinks website to see if you can find out anything about other groups.

    I'd love if Kilkenny could get a Writer in Residence! Doesn't seem to be much interest in the Arts Office about that though.
