Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am writing this for a friend of mine who wants to know were she stands from a legal stand point. She has been off for some months on maternity leave from work and returned back in January. Before she returned she was told that she can return part time as she cant afford a childminder.

This job itself is an office job in a very well known company and has worked there for 6 years. She returned in January and has been treated very different. First of all she was told that she will have no fixed desk as she is part time. Temps get a desk before she does. Her email account was cancelled and all her emails have been deleted . She was very angry about not getting a desk and she was told that she was only part time and she cant have one. After arguing her case , they eventually give her one. Only to take it back the next day.

She called HR to find out if she was entitled to her own desk who confirmed that she did. This got back to her boss who gave out to her for going to HR. She was then told that she is on 3 months probation and if anything happens in this time her contract can be terminated .
She has also been told due to her being part time, if she calls in sick on the wednesday this counts as 4 sick days .

This company itself no longer hires staff, only uses temps . She is the only actual member of staff on the team. She basically feels she is being forced out of the company .

Anybody know were she stands here with this ?
