There was another class game (think on spectrum) where you were a POW in a camp & had to sneak around differant huts grabbin med kits, tools ets.. to plan an escape & you couldnt get caught in the search lights at night otherwise you'd be confined to solidarity. I rembember you had a moral flag or summat.
Must have been one of the earliest rpg (v basic compared to nowadays)

Anyone remember the name?? (retrogamer, im lookin in your direction)!!

Sounds like the Great Escape. Supposedly an absolute classic and I had it myself on the C64, however I was too young at the time to appreciate it and hadn't a clue what was going on.

    Z

    By the bitmap brothers

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z_(computer_game)

It was hard as nails on the later levels and just bloody good fun. Every battle would build and build and till it reached a tipping point when you either got annihilated or began to annihilate them. You could play it for hours come close to wiping them out then move back and let them rebuild a bit till they were going to be more fun to knock out then move in for the kill. Very enjoyable overall - and rewarding to complete. Cut scenes were hilarious too.

    GTA Vice City
    Max Payne 1 & 2
    FEAR (First one excluding addons...)

These would be my favorites, brilliant games, FEAR prob the worst out of my favorites, have to include it as have played through it several times and liked it, Max Paynes are both fantastic and Vice City is still imo the best GTA to date (lets hope GTAIV changes that!)
