Just got this today. Amazing bit of solid and sturdy kit.
Truely amazing how solid this feels for a cheap clone.
Will do a full review when I get daylight and time.

Got the battery finally charged its a bitch to get in the handguard.
I think I am going to have some teething problems wit this.

I cant really see the BB's in the dark while fireing out my
back garden may leave further testing til the weekend.

Fired a while ago and ran into my first issue.

As you know the Army R85 comes with kinda a simulated blowback feature.
You can lock the bolt back to stop it or let the bolt forward
and the AEG simulates recocking of the bolt.

On single fire mode with bolt back I need to squeeze the trigger twice to fire
a shot. The First trigger squeeze I get a sound like the gears are moving into
position but not fireing. The 2nd squeeze if fires like normal.

With the bolt forward I still need to squeeze the trigger twice.
The first time I the bolt simulates cocking and moves and sometimes
fires a BB sometimes it does not the 2nd pull of the trigger
results in either a BB flying out or a bb dribbleing out of the end of the barrel.

I tested it out with a midcap on full auto and the full auto seemed to work
OK although it sounded different to my other AEG's weirdly it started
blank fireing half way though a midcap even though there was plenty
    of BB's left.

I have not messed about with the hopup yet. The inside of this AEG
and the way it functions are a mystery to me as its the first I have
bought with this simulated blowback feature.

Also the Trigger pull is VERY heavy compared to any other AEG's

OK this is just the weirdest AEG ever.
Does anyone else here have one ?

I set the hop up midway as I did not know which direction to
turn the dial to increase or decrease it.

Tried it tonight in my Model Room (Room where I paint and do my hobbies)
Its fireing Low but AMAZINGLY accurate compared to other AEG's I have
tried. When the simulated cocking/blowback feature is on it fires most of
the time OK I cant see the BB's coming out at all, I have to listen to them
bounce off the target. This thing eats two layers of corrugated card for dinner and leaves severe exit holes. As there is simulated blow back it makes a weird clacking noise.

The problem comes sometimes when I pull the trigger it kinda half cocks
and does not fire. I need to pull the trigger again and it spits out 2bb's
at what sounds like way more power as my Jaw nearly dropped as there
was a distinct sound difference with two flying out the barrel at the same
    time!!!

With the Cocking/blowback off ie holding the bolt back with the locking
switch the problem happens nearly all the time.

A bit worried at this stage it may be on the Warm side of 1J but
have no way of checking until I meet a buddy that has a Chrono.
(Which is a real steel chrono thats not very BB friendly it tends to ignore them)

I had one briefly. It never really shot properly on single. Aparently it has something to do with the gear not going through it's full cycle. Make sure you pull the trigger fully and keep it pulled until the BB is gone, see if that makes any difference. The blow back feature was really cool I thought. Makes a great sound and gives a little simulated recoil. The gun itself is really weighty and feels so solid against your shoulder. Word of warning though, I gave mine up when the it broke. When you take the hand-guard off there's the barrel and another smaller above it. They're connected by the mount for the front site. That mount is connected to the main barrel by a little pin on the side. Very, very small and delicate. If there's any sort of lateral movement that's gonna shear. Then the handguard with slide off the front of the gun because it's not connected anymore. So be very careful when changing batteries. Mine felt hot when I got it too. Like 350+ hot.

yes, indeed, it should be recalled and repaired, please make sure you do so as you wont be able to use your aeg on any sites and you are breaking the law if you do not get it fixed
