re-enameling a bath

Hi, I have a lovely enamel bath that has seen better days but is worth keeping as it is long. Its not a victorian style, just a regular bath. Its a bit scratched, a few nicks and a couple of limescale stains around the tap area to the plug hole. Anyone any tips on how to get it back into condition. Can i re-enamel myself…
