Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have just upgraded from the NTL 2mb package to the 6mb package. I reset my modem and tested it. I used wwww.irishisptest.com

The last test on my 2mb line I did, I got: 1932 kbps (236 KB/s) - which is pretty good for a 2mb line.

With a 6mb I expected this to triple. I did the first test and the Upload speed was significantly bigger : 509 kbps (63 KB/s) - but the download speed was only 2642 kbps (323 KB/s) - I thought I could expect a lot faster.

The strange thing is that this test wqas done from my pc which is connected wirelessly. However I just plugged my laptop straight into my router and I got: 5892 kbps (720KB/s) - way faster!

I though maybe its the wireless that is making it slower, but I tried downloading a large file from my website and I can get about 550-620KB/s

Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?
    Thanks

So it's slower over wireless? But over a wired connection, the throughput increases....

Are you using WEP or WPA on your wireless connection?
