Hard drive problem..........

Hi, I have 7 500Gb hard drives all the same (Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB, SATA-300, 32MB, 7200RPM) and two of them have gone wrong.

I have only had them a max of 7-8 months, the problem is I purchased the drives from two different on line retailers and I have no idea which retailer the defective drives came from................I went on Seagates website and put in the serial numbers to see if they could do anything, but as they are OEM they say I need to contact the place I got them from.

So my question is, do the retailers keep a record of the serial numbers?

    Any advice would be great.

    Thanks.
