glue fo hold metal on glass

THE FRONT door is hanging loose on my pals,bendix cooker,door 2x2foot approx, so i need a metal that,ll glue metal to glass ,i tried super glue.CAN anyone recommend a strong glue,this cookers 7 years old,out of warranty.

A lot of the Loctite products available bond metal to glass...

Have a look in Woodies or such and you will be able to find better than superglue!

Oh, and clean the two surfaces very well before hand. Use a cleaner such as methylated spirits.

I've used it to stick a wooden frame to the back of a mirror - very strong and works on virtually anything. Got it in B&Q

Try a motor factors for rearview mirror bonding agent. One of the strongest metal/glass bonds, but check out if it is high temperature resistant.
