I was thinking of going to that one in London. Missed it last year and knew 2 heads that went over, looked ****ing wicked but I was workin etc and couldn't get off in time!I think I even called in sick out of protest one of those days. :D

Should organize a group to head over.I'd have 3 mates that'd go in the hope of getting stuff done while we're there.

Oh dear god! She's threatening to haunt us! What horrible things did we do when you were alive that you'd resort to this!?!? :D

Either that or she got involved in some well dodgy research and now exists only as pure alcohol... better yet the fool is willing to trust you not to drink her! Muhaha!!!!:D

Cork Convention is on weekend of 27th June so get your hols organised.

Paddy is still trying to organise the Dublin one again. ;)

He couldn't get insurance cover over the last couple of years and the venues don't accept the risk without it. He's still trying!!

27th of June? That's brilliant! I won't even need to organise holidays as I'll be after quitting by then.

But now I won't be able to get any ink done :( Boo. Oh well. More drink :D

No, Paddy O'Donaghue from Body Shock. He ran the Dublin Convention for a number of years before the insurance problem cropped up.

Denis Dennehy runs the Cork Convention.

The only Bullmans I know are Danny and Seanie from Limerick. Don't know if they work at the Cork Convention but they use to set up stall at the Dublin one.

Going to go to the Cork one this year. I was at the last two London conventions and I'm going this year aswell. I hope to get some more work done at the London convention this year. I am going to London in two weeks for a few hours with Bugs and hope to get another few hours at the convention aswell.

I doubt Booth will be at the Cork one. He missed the 2nd London Convention but was there for the others. I got work done by him last year at it.

Yeah his waiting list is pretty long. He works in Hollywood but does a few weeks in London every year. I am getting more work on my arm in London in two weeks by him. He is my favourite tattooist. Booths waiting list is even longer, it was 3 years at one stage, not sure what it us now.

    le sigh...

went to the S.I.N.Z (south island new zealand) tattoo expo yesterday, it was brilliant. i was mostly on the lookout for someone for some of the ideas i have in my head at the moment, for the next few years, and though there were a lot of really good artists, a lot of htem i kinda just glanced over, nice but not quite me... til i found this one guy, whose work just blew me away. not only was it all quite original, well planned out and beautifully done, but it was like some of the ideas were plucked out of my head and photographed, the work is absolutely perfect for me, and he seems like a really sound out straight up guy too...

just... he's based in the north island... that is a minimum of $160 for return flights, without even going into accommodation... bah. gonna email him though, and see how much of basic ideas are possible to communicate and possibly draw up via email... :/ im stubborn like this, and i dont want any other artists working on this piece.

I got the Booth and Bugs tattoo's in London and the Hernandez ones in Madrid. I think it is worth traveling to get what you want. It is expensive enough with the travelling but the actual cost of the tattoos is not much more than getting something in a normal street shop.
