The first goo at some First Division odds.

    Shelbourne 9/4
    Dundalk 9/4
    Waterford Utd 3/1
    Longford Town 10/1
    Sporting Fingal 10/1
    Limerick 37 16/1
    Kildare County 25/1
    Athlone Town 40/1
    Wexford Youths 50/1
    Monaghan Utd 66/1

These are from Boyles. I heard Stan James may have had odds up with Shelbourne standing as 9/2 shots. Might be gone forever that one! :p

I like Dundalk at 9/4 myself.

    Stan James odds.

Ha. My boys Sporting Fingal were 7/1 there not so long ago. Who do you trust more to get an impression of the teams ability right? Boyles or Stan James? Because they are very different in their opinions on Shelbourne and Dundalk. Could Boyles' 9/4 on Dundalk or James' 9/2 on Shels be wrong?

I'd back Dundalk at 9/4 rather than Shels at 9/2 if I was to put money on it.

I was thinking the same before the friendly against Cork on Thursday evening but the 9/2 on Shels now looks very good. Although it was only a friendly our part time kids and O.A.P.s kept one of the best sides in the country fairly quiet.
