nissan primera overheating

hi new to this but my problem is i have a nissan primera 02 new model and is overheating tought it might be the thermostat but no and am really stuck need it for work, rang nissan and they said it would be 2 weeks before they could even look at it can any tell me if they`ve had the same problem thanks.
