Phantom.ie bags a Digital Media Award

    Phantom 105.2, PPI Music Station of the Year, is delighted to announce that our web site, phantom.ie has won the Best Entertainment Content (web or mobile) category of the 2008 Digital Media Awards. The winners were announced at the 6th Digital Media Awards in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry on 7th Feb. 2008. Go Phantom!

    The website was designed by Modus I.T. Ltd., a Dublin based web design company specialising in the entertainment industry, with a flexible content management system allowing regular and live updating. As one of Dublin's coolest radio stations our site supports the radio station's on-air activities, providing dynamic streaming and downloadable content and creating an online community of listeners. All updating is carried out in-house and it's not unusual to find Phantom DJ’s updating their homepages with play lists as they broadcast!

    Phantom.ie offers live streaming and podcasting with the best quality web streaming (up to 128K) available from any Dublin radio station in a variety of formats and can now be accessed through iTunes.

    Also shortlisted in the same category were Budrising.ie, Balcony TV, Planet 3 and 3MusicStore. The shortlist for other categories is available here.

    Phantom 105.2, PPI Music Sation of the year, plays the best in independent and modern rock and is available on FM in Dublin, DAB Digital Radio and online at www.phantom.ie
