    We need a hub/switch screwed underneath every table in the snackery so people can plug in via ethernet, the wireless in Kevin ST is never working and when it is working is absolutely dire.
    Also more power sockets!

    Yes, Ironically the technology DIT has the worst wireless service, I gave up bringing laptop in for that reason, if you really need to connect wirelessly Aungier Streets is far superior

    Ever heard of the labs? What do u need to do an a laptop that you cant do in the labs?

    ohh yes, a hub under every desk, along with a power socket. you think DIT are made of money? well they are but they've much more important things to be spending money on.

    wireless has been much improved over the last year or so and have had no problems connecting to it in the canteen/snackery/library, no the problem comes to when you want to connect in the non annex building.

    the building is old, what's the point upgrading it with power sockets/wireless routers everywhere when they'll be demolishing the building in less than 5 years.

    The wired internet is 5 billion times faster and more reliable than the ballsy wireless, so anyone with a brain plugs into the wall.

    Nooooo dont turn the snackery into a nerdfest its bad enough the cs players shouting in the labs grrr not the snackery aswell for the love of god!
