Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Should be a good game tonight between Sevilla and Barca. Im sure Real will want Sevillas good form to go a tad longer. I reckon 2-1.

Usually id be happy with a point, especially with the absences, but this is a must win game, either they win or they can hand the title over to the capital.

    Kanoute is back

i borderline confident Sevilla will win by 3 or 4 :D

    Theyll have to go with;

    VV
    Ole(save us lord)
    Thuram---Milito---Abidal--
    Marquez

    Iniesta
    Xavi
    Messi
    Henry
    Ronnie--

if they want to win.. But we all know FR and his stupidity, so he'll probably put the selfish Gio and great (but still not a starter in a game of this calibre and importance) in there somewhere.

They should be 3 down at least... Ouchies... Demolition by Sevilla. Its at times like these that I wish Mali were in the ANC final instead of Cameroon. :D

Edit: Ive havent seen Oleguer play even mediocre in over 2 seasons, everytime he is playing he is at fault for at least one goal, its ridiculous. There is no way he'd still be at barca if it wasnt for the fact he is a symbol of catalan nationalism because of his literature.

Keita sent off after a dive by Messi, 2nd booking.

Sevilla should have had this won by now, should make for a good finish.

    Definitely wasnt a dive.

Sevilla shouldnt have been in the position to allow barca to come back after that first half. Thats life though! =P

    Seriously?

No contact from 3 or 4 different angles. Took a step before he went down and all. Im not hating on Messi, a player i love, just called it as i saw it.

OMG Ronaldinho's freekicks did my head in, 4 of them and each one straight into the wall!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 21,296 ✭✭✭✭gimmick

His second booking was deffo a foul. His first was a perfect challenge. I felt the ref was a disgarce. Needless bookings and a tad whistle happy.

It will be 8 points again y the end of the weekend, so the Madrid ribbons may as well be put on the trophy again :(

Lets hope for a Copa Del Rey, and maybe a CL... =[

Oh, i dont mind you saying it, I remember Messi going down a little easily once towards the end, but it definitely wasnt for Keitas second yellow. His first yellow was definitely a good challenge though.

Ronnies free kicks are usually sublime(he scored once in 3 or something like that), they were what kept most of the criticism from the media.. He has been out with injury so Ill give him another couple of games before I start getting annoyed with those. What annoys me loads is the fact that (in the past 2 seasons) he continually slows the ****ing game down when he gets the ball. And when you play teams like Sevilla, Valencia and Madrid, he tends to get caught out with counter attacks.

Seriously though, Oleguer must be the worst defender in Barca's history.. Hahahaha, its actually funny how bad he is! To have him marking Capel was ridiculous. Destroyed all night.

^ Marquez is worse. I cannot see what he brings to the team at all. Barca conceded usually involves him in some way.

Oh for crying out loud, the one weekend I decide not to watch Madrid :/

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,046 ✭✭✭eZe^

5-0 up at halftime, Cameroon lost the ACN, not only that, but Etoo gets injured and seeing as all the subs were used he was forced to play for 15 mins with a pulled hamstring. I swear to god if he's injured badly again ill cry...

This has been the worst weekend in football for me ever... hahahah.

He's a quality player. Its a pity about Valencia though. You think he'll leave this summer? And if so where do ye think he'll go? I reckon itll be Madrid if anywhere. He wouldnt be too bad at Liverpool though, he's a good partner for Torres.

He wants to go to the Premiership anyway
