    Hi...

    I was wondering if anyone doing the above course, or similar, could recommend some sources online for journals etc... for use in assignments. I have come across many websites that offer some good stuff but you cant see much of it without a subscription so is there any that people have subscribed to that are good?

    This is exactly what the library is for!!! Check out the subject gateway for your area: http://www.dit.ie/DIT/library/resources/subjects/socialscience/index.html

    This will list the most popular journals and databases as well as reputable online resources for you to use. Contact your faculty librarian for some help negotiating the databases if necessary, and some searching tips as well - although there are some pretty good online tutorials. Did you not get any sessions from the library on this?

    Remember if you are off-campus you'll need to log into your library account first in order to gain access to the databases and journals that DIT subscribe too. Best of luck!
