Wait or buy?

I have an 8800gts.The 320meg one..And its been a fantastic card for months now.
But ive since upgraded to a larger monitor and its starting to struggle with things like cod4 and crysis(dont they all:rolleyes:) at the larger resolutions. Ive been thinking of upgrading to one of those new g92 gts cards.
Is it worth it? Should i bother waiting about for anything new and dazzling thats waiting in the sidelines as there usually is.
Also does anyone have any experience with the dabs value stuff? A g92 8800 for 258 seems rather generous.

24 inch monitor?

You will most likely have to turn some settings to medium as not even the fastest GF8/Ati can handle some of today's games at 1920x1200 with everything on high.

I dunno how accurate these Crysis 1600x1200 high numbers are with the old 8800GTS vs 8800GT, but if they're to believed, it's like almost a 2.5x performance increase.

I'd say if you can sell your GTS and buy a GT within €50-€60 more, it's probably worth the effort. Otherwise, wait it out.

Its a 22". 1680x1050 is what im looking to play at. Even in some older games like Css and Call of Duty 2 it chugs at that res when theres plenty goin on. Nothing majorly poor but i like to keep my fps in those games rather high because i play them alot and notice even slight slowdown being the picky c**nt i am. Ive been looking around and ive not seen anything new to come from ati for awhile and im not sure id like to wait for the nvidia 98 dual chip card due to the speculated price of it.
That gt looks like an amazing offer btw. Any opinions on that vs say this?
