Waterford Poker Open 2008 - Comes to Tramore

11-02-2008 3:57am#1As i am a member of the Tramore Community i feel it is imperative to try bring buisness into the town and this will do so . This is the Biggest event ever in Poker in the south east region and attracted 275 runners in November . We at Big Slick hope to achieve Higher numbers for this one . Last year this event was won by John Ward of Galway and he took home €27,000 This time 1st prize should reach in excess of €50,000 .
The Hotel in Tramore have been great in setting this up and with the Woodlands and the Tower sufficent in Waterford i think it is a credit to the hotel in Tramore that we have chosen this venue.
