    Knew i wouldnt be going to gym with the Arsenal v Pool game on TV so brought gear to work and went for a roughly 5k run at a track on the way home.

    Stuck in house last night, just done some bodyweight exercises such as air squats, push ups, lunges, ab curls etc.

    weekly weigh in - 3lb down this week. Exactly 1 stone off goal of 12 1/2 by mid June.

    Saturday - went for a run but was short enough, still sore from training night before.
    Sunday - day off.

    Went for a 20 mins run after work and then a few bodyweight exercises in house, then just to be counter productive went to town to watch footie and drank pints!

    Went for a 5k run. Didnt have time to go out to the gym as was meeting some friends shortly afterwards, done some bodyweight exercises in house and filled a couple 5 litre drums of water to add extra weight to the squats, lunges etc. Necessity is the mother of invention.

    Football training Friday night, killer, lot of sprint work done. Stiff as a board on Saturday even after using ice bath 3 times after training.
    Went for a short run and kick of ball again on Sunday morning, though hamstrings were still very tight.

    Weekends at home aint the best on the diet front, big roast dinners hard to resist!

    Football training on Friday night, was good, tough as usual.

    All down hill from there though, horrendous weekend of Beer and dung food. Have a cold now on top of it all. More football training tonight, will see how much i can do, will either knock the cold outta me or make me a hundred times worse, we'll see.

    Ok, things have been slowly slipping over last couple weeks and came to a head last week. making up excuses not to go gymming and diet going out the window, so at least now, where i used to just slide from here the fact im monitoring everything has me focussed on pulling it together again, starting today.

    Weekend wasnt bad, no beer or real bad food, football training and run on Saturday, another training sunday but wasnt much more than a light run out.

    Wow, long time since updated this. Just mental busy, good weather has affected gym attendance, main exercise lately been football training/matches and going for runs. Back out to the gym last night, done the following.

    Cheeers cork girl, always a danger, much easier to go to a BBQ and drink beer than the gym these evenings.

    Been fairly consistent in gym lately, going every second evening roughly. Hard to fit in as football scehdule is busy these times.
    Bought Dbs in Argos to have in house so can at least do some weights there instead of having to go to gym and queue to get certain dumbbells or a bench. Good weekend, no beer, diet solid and got out for a run on Saturday and Sunday

    Not a bad long weekend, best of the last few anyway. Diet wise keep everything fairly tight though was tough when everyone else in the house got take away dinner on Monday, never has anything smelled so good, but i had my treat when went for a few pints on Saturday night so resisted.
    Friday night - football training.
    Saturday - usual weights session,same as above.
    Sunday - went for a 30 mins run.
    Monday - football training again.

    Haveing the dumbbells at home is great but feel my cardio work is slipping a bit, GAA training and matches few times a week is keeping this ticking over though. Will go for a run tonight.

    Just went for a swim last night. Trainer promised a heavy training for tonight so didnt wanna be wrecked going into it.
    Weigh in this morning for first time in a while. 30lbs done now since January. Happy enough with that seeing the amount of lapses ive had in between, just makes me think what i could have done if id been more disciplined.
