Expired Visa: Chances of getting caught

    I have a mate whose Working Holiday Visa expired last week. He received letters from immigration saying that his Visa was running out.

    What are the changes of him getting caught now that he is still here?

    he'll be caught if he tries leave the country. Can also be found through work too. Deserves to get what he does, there are legal ways around stayin there. Its not like America where its nearly impossible, but to stay illegal in Oz is stupid when there is so many means and ways to do it right. Could have even got a 3 month holiday extension as well, or the 12 month multi entry holiday visa.

    That all depends on what country you are from. If you in a commonwealth or former commonwealth then great ! :)
