hey just wondering does anyone know when the dfb will be recruiting again.

i know they only recruited last year but i heard somewhere they were gonna recruit again sooner than they normally do.

    is this true?

Thats unlikely as the first class from last years panel hasnt even started training yet. The training centre is very busy at the moment with ongoing training courses for the entire personnel of the brigade.

Ring Dublin City Council and ask for the HR dept. or phone the OBI Training centre on the Malahide Road 01 8338313. Either of these should get you through to someone in the know

it might be worth doing a week long private fire training course in the DFB training center ( the OBI) , think its called the Emergency response team course, they are great fun (in the lots of sweating sense of the word) and give u a taste of the real thing
