am i expecting too much

Well i jsut got back into fm08 recently. played 07 alot and got 08 but rarely played it. Fired it up and started with totenham ( love berbatov)

I started realisticly...hanging around 7-9th spot in the league.

pre season didnt sign many players and jsut went with what i had.

Berbatov and bent became goalscoring gurus along with kevin prince boatang.

come january i smashed the market wide open

branamir borditov ( or whatever)
rafeal van der vaart
alex (from vasco)
gergio wijnaldum
kiki farcan ( or something like that cant remember)
ever benega ( strong holding midfielder)

Branamir hasnt lived up to boardsies hype.
kiki and kaki whatever his name is has done ok scoring a few goals.
van der vaart is sterling scoring in nearly every game and is a great buy
gergio wijd is also immense
alex from vasco is doing well

Alot of the signing i took for recommendations here, and im looking to sign ezeq garay come summer.

I'm doing well being 3rd in the league and am in contention, knocked out of domestic cups and going strong in europe

I guess just looknig for tactical suggestion, not sure where they play their best and i want the best out of them.

i score a lot of goals jsut coneding alot, would love to hear from oyu guys about some solid defenders who i should sign, then i think ill be well on my way
