Forest V Leeds tongiht in League 1

Being a Forest I hope win but it has draw all over it!

    My Selections:

West Brom had a bad result at the weekend but their home form is fantastic. They play struggling Sheff Utd, who have a manager under pressure in Brian Robson. Sheff Fans want him out. So hopefully Robson's return to the Hawthorns wont be a happy one tonight.

Stoke are a team on the up while their opponents tonight Southampton are struggling at the moment. Stoke are in good form and got an impressive win at Wolves last weekend. Where as the Saints are without a win in their last 3 games. So its hopefully a Stoke win here

    The Double
    West Brom & Stoke -> €1 returns €2.80

    Selection Plymouth Argyle @ 5/6
    Selection Charlton Athletic @ 5/4
    Selection Stoke City @ 8/11
    Selection Watford @ 4/6
Selection West Bromwich Albion @ 8/13
    Selection Swansea City @ 4/6
    Selection Queen's Park Rangers @ 10/11

Small stake combo pays around 63/1

Any important team news for West Brom?

    Taken from BBC

West Brom have fitness concerns over Roman Bednar and Bostjan Cesar, who were both taken off on Saturday suffering from groin problems.

Robert Koren (calf) is also a doubt, but Ishmael Miller (hamstring) is confident of being available.

Put a good bit of money on watford as a single tonite. Anyone any team news on them?

    Also went for

    Swansea 4/6
    West Brom 4/6
    Burton Albion 2/7
    Mantova 8/11
    Bologna 3/10

Think it works out at 7 or 8/1.

Looks like a good one based on form. Watford have won their last 2, Leicester have lost theirs.
Burnley's last two games have been dodgy aswell

    So here's mine for tonight

    1 Watford v Leicester (Backing Watford @ 1.73)
    2 QPR v Burnley (Backing QPR @ 2.04)

    Doubles
    Selections Odds Stake Potential win
    1 and 2 3.51 €20.00 €50.20

I'm a bit late revealing my bets! I went with Wolves 15/8 (currently 0-0) and Oldham 9/4 (also 0-0 as i write).

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,698 ✭✭✭IrishMike

Liverpool reserves went 1-0 up after 7 mins and paddy power were still offering them @ 5-6 for the win.
    Am i missing something?
They are top of the table and thrashed Bolton 3-0 last week.
Is Roy Keane playing for Sunderland or something? :D

Watford down to 10 in first half. Dodgy

Live score says it's just a yellow card for O'toole. Either way both of mine are up at half time but I'm not liking the sound of 10 men

Fair play on your bet coming through but why ask for the team news after you put on the bet?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,772 ✭✭✭jameshayes

Yeah, but it's only 1.01, i need something around 1.03-1.05 to keep on track

Just checking to see if any one had any other team news. Had all ready checked bbc and sportingfile

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,494 ✭✭✭m.j.w

    For tonite went with

    Ac Milan
    PSV
    Dundee Utd
    50 TREBLE = 141

Reckon villarreal are a good price at 11/8 away to zenit petersburg but dont know wether to have a bet on them or not. Might just stick to what I have

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,698 ✭✭✭IrishMike

Dont fancy villarreal at all to be honest.
Can see that being a draw, zenit looked decent against Everton and the fact that its on in Russia in February means ill be avoiding that game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 627 ✭✭✭fatgav

    went for

    everton over brann @ 1,74
    bremen over braga @ 1.32
    psv over helsingborg @ 1.29
dundee utd over st mirren @ 1.75
    hibs over gretna @ 1.39
sp lisbon over basel @ 1.57

all at home bar everton. all should win. works out at 11.76 on betfair. crossed it with five ways as well. it's not a big bet for me but they look the picks of the night for me.

avoid milan over livorno. they're ravaged with injuries up front.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,698 ✭✭✭IrishMike

Fatgav everton are away btw and @ 1.74 look very short price for an away team

  • Registered Users Posts: 627 ✭✭✭fatgav

everton are away. my bad. i knew that but posted wrong. they are a short price but brann haven't played a game since december with their winter break and it's a game that the toffees are taking seriously. maybe it's not the best value, i'll grant you that, but i fancy them to win. hope i'm right! but ur point is taken and duly noted irishmike.

Ok guys. Went with treble. Think Bayern Munich are cert 4/11, I actually got them at 2/5 at start of week with Atl Madrid away to Bolton and Bologna who won last 3-1.

Dodgy one is Mdrid, but should do business.
